about omotejokwo

Unclassically trained singer-songwriter with bad habits and good sounds…

Music entered my life early. But although I started singing when I started speaking and songwriting soon after, I didn't pick up a guitar until years later. I had come to a point in my life where I had so many songs on paper, but no one would commit to being my guitarist. The only solution seemed to be to commit to being my own guitarist, so that's what I did. Jimi Hendrix I am not, but I think we could've been friends. I'd probably have started things off with, “Hey, we have the same birthday!”

Crossing mediums allows me to deepen my creativity. While music is my first love, I have been fascinated by the art of communication since my high school years. In 2005, I graduated from the University of Tampa with a B.A. in Communications and Writing. Shortly after, I moved to Los Angeles to continue my education and, in 2010, I earned a J.D. from Southwestern Law School. The following year, I gained admission to the State Bar of California. While my legal background does not define me, it definitely informs me.

Nice to meet you!
